Spring TIme

We LOVE our Maylee Bug. Being parents has been such a fun adventure. I feel to say that we got lucky and have the perfect child... :) Ryan's favorite thing is to come home from work and make her smile. Life is going so wonderful for us right now. I am have recently got a job with Dr. Ellis, DDS of Odgen. I am subbing for other DA's who go on vacation or need time off for the summer. It should be a lot of fun. I am excited to work again. Ryan, however, has pretty much become a slave to his job, haha. But he doesn't view it that way at all. He works from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on most days and comes home very tired, but very happy too. He is such an amazing man to do what he does to provide so much for me and Maylee. We love you Daddy! Anyways, life is good. We are so blessed. I hope everyone has a wonderful Springtime and had the chance to reflect on the Saviors life this past easter. We, as a family, know that He truly does live today and I am so grateful we can understand this, to know the sting of death is swallowed up by Christ and his Antoning sacrifice. I am so grateful for the peace this brings.

Love,
The Meads

all moved in...

We are finally and officially all moved in !!! Yay! (it only took three weeks, but hey, moving 8 months pregnant is pretty crazy business) We LOVE our new little home. It needed some updating, so we painted and put in new kitchen flooring, and now, it's fantastic! We have already had friends and family over to visit and it has been such a blessing in our lives.

Ryan's work has been such a smooth transition. He has worked SO hard and his managers have been impressed with him. We feel SO very blessed at this time :) He is still in school (online) and being too busy for his own good. He thinks he is going to have time to restore an Opel GT 71 this summer, or at least try to. I am sure he will prove me wrong since his obsession over this car has been a thirteen year endeavor.

As for me and our baby girl, Maylee Drew, we are just hanging out everyday enjoying our new little house. I have truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends once again. I have missed them all so very much. So much strength has come from just realizing how many people care about you and your life. I am so excited to bring Maylee into this world surrounded by so many people who love her. I was able to visit my mom this week and she opened up with tears in her eyes when I asked her what it's like to be a mom for the first few weeks. She is such a wonderful mother and I hope I can follow in her footsteps and work just as hard as she did to give her children everything she had. Love you Mom.

the waiting game...

8 weeks until the estimated dilver of our first baby girl !! Oh, the anticipation, let me tell you. :) We are so excited to meet this little one and give her all our love.
Ryan is currently waiting for his company to decide if they want to open up a sales posistion in Orem, Utah. We despirately want this move... however we just don't know when it will happen.
To mix things up a bit, Ryan's boss asked him if he would like to consider drving route. (i.e. To deliver water instead of sales.) Ryan found himself saying he would seriously think about it, although his boss wasn't looking to truly promote him, just wanted to know if he would. Interesting?? Absolutely. If he did get the route job, we would be in Fresno another year at least and have a raise. The hold up is just waiting, once again, for them to tell us what they want. Go figure.
Who knows where the next year of life will take us. We truly just want to be where the Lord has need of us to grow and to serve and to raise a righteous family. Ryan has truly been the biggest blessing in my life during this time. He has calmed my fears and frustrations and been a man when I needed his strength. I love him so very much and am so proud of the life which he has created for our little family. We are truly blessed. I could not ask for more.
